How long do you stay in hospital?

Ftm and just wondering like if everything goes well and no c section how long they keep you... My mom will be there when she's born but will be going home since we live 7 mins away. So I'll be there alone😢 I've never stayed in a hospital that's why it's kind of scary to me for some reason.

Only one or two nights, it's not so bad!

My first was a 3-4 day stay but he was a csection.
My second was 2 day stay after a VBAC. I could have gone home after 1st day but elected to stay and rest.

Regular vaginal birth my hospital keeps you for 2 days.  I gave birth at 7 am on a Thursday and was discharged Saturday morning.

My hospital only keeps you for a 24 hour stay after delivery. It makes me a little nervous because I stayed much longer with my first!

Having a perfectly fine and healthy vaginal delivery you get released 48 hours after baby is born . C section 72 hours after baby is born . If baby is perfectly healthy ( can breathe and eat onits own and ect. )  it will be released with you . 
I gave birth at 655 Friday night and I get released at 7 tomorrow night . I am so excited to get home with my baby ❤️

Oh......the nurses are great regardless, but letting them know your concerns and maybe having your mom bring in some Krispy Kremes for them will really get you on their priority list;-)

My hospital is 48 hours after delivery.  Assuming baby passes all tests, he goes home with you. My city is known for one of the best L&D in the state and I hope it's the same for you. The nurses are the best and if you bring your own towels, pillow, and blanket it's not so bad.

I stayed 2 nights. They came in the day after I had her and asked if I felt okay and wanted to go or if I wanted to stay. I was going to be taking her home alone so I opted to stay a 2nd night. This time if everything goes smoothly I plan to leave the next day.

With both my previous pregnancy I had to stay 3-4 days. My water never broke with neither do the Dr broke my water for me. Well I got an infection and ended up with a fever with both my previous pregnancies.
