Sinus drainage...meds?

What can I take for sinus drainage and sore throat?  I'm nursing..

Answer

I have the same symptoms and most nursing moms will tell you there's not much you can take. I took some ibuprofen to help the discomfort. I also took a Benadryl one night to help with some symptoms. All in all, waiting it out is really the one safe solution right now so I don't risk drying up my milk. Good luck!
