Gyno appointment with period?

Hi ladies I have a gyno appointment in 2 days but I just started my period yesterday. I've never been to a gyno before so I'm not sure if I should still go or reschedule?

My ob reschedules if you are on your cycle but u should call and check

I've been before on my period, they ended up having to reschedule my pap, but it just depends on the doctor, I would just call.

I still go if my flow is light. They can still do a pap even if there is a light flow

I would call in the morning and see what they say. Typically they can't do a pap if you're bleeding and will more than likely ask you to come back in a week or two when your period is over.

I'd still go.  Believe me they have seen it all. My friend recently had this happen to her and she called and told the nurse but she said it was fine and to still show up.
