Please respond, as I am nervous and desperate to know. How many of you have gotten a false positive on a pregnancy test after the HCG trigger shot, and how long after the shot did you test?

I got my shot on December 24th. We leave on vacation on January 5th. I want to test that morning, so I know before we head out... The doctor told me to wait at least 10 days, that will be 11... I have read other things that say to wait 14. I would really like to know what others experiences are with legitimate positive tests and false positives. Thanks in advance!
