I was recently diagnosed with spina bifida occulta which causes my back to hurt pretty severely for a couple of weeks at a time. During those weeks it's hard to find a sex position that's good for me, my back, and my partner. Obviously don't have sex is a good answer but I'm refusing to let this diagnoses control my every day life.
