Diapers?!

So I am due in June just started my stockpile of diapers and wipes now how many boxes or diapers are you all planning to buy ahead of time??!!

I have a stash of about 40 cloth diapers and still collecting.

I don't plan on buying any ahead of time. You never know what size the baby will be or how fast they will grow and I'd hate to have boxes I couldn't use!

Instead of buying diapers save the money and buy as u go. Luckily my daughter used whichever brand but lots of babies have sensitive skin and only use certain brands

My friend found some guidelines on Pinterest.  Her son is now 11 months old and she said the estimates have been pretty spot on.  She stocked up before he was born and has not had to buy diapers since.
Newborn: a few packs (but some babies go straight to size 1)
Size 1: 840 diapers
Size 2: 560 diapers
Size 3: 1520 diapers

After losing a baby at 31 weeks this past March and having a diaper stockpile I won't be doing that again. I will say however that I donated my entire stockpile to the church.

With my second I bought many. A pack or box every paycheck or so. Different sizes. Didn't have to go out and buy more until he was about 4.5 months old! It was a huge blessing. And you can always exchange for different brand if baby doesn't agree with the kind you have.

I have my stock pile I have 64 newborns,265 size 1, 408 size 2, 348 size 3.my son grew out of newborns really fast he was 7lbs 9oz and I believe this is going to be a big baby unless I'm full of fluids

With out son we had a couple small packages of newborn, a few more of size one and then a bunch more of size 2 and 3. We didn't buy diapers for 3+ months and ran out of each size just in time to move up. 😊 I will probably do the same this time.
