Did anyone know they were having twins before first scan?

My husband and I found out on Xmas eve that our last cycle let of ivf with icsi was successful, we are now waiting for our first scan on Jan 14th. My question is did you know you were having twins before your first scan or did you have no idea?

This is my second pregnancy and my last one I had no symptoms at all, no bloating or anything. However this time lots of bloating get, lots of hunger, tiny tiny bit of nausea but nothing to moan about. And major fatigue. Should I brace myself for an announcement of double trouble ( I'd be thrilled no matter what)
