Can i eat crabs?

Lol probably a dumb question but I'm 16 + 2 days & is it safe for me to eat crabs tonight with the hubby? Or bad ... :( which would suck because I've been craving crabs & lobster now!

You should be fine. If it smells ok and is cooked, I wouldn't worry!

I was told by my MD that seafood is fine and recommended to be consumed at least once a week for the omega-3 benefits of eye and brain development for baby. I've had shrimp, crab, cod, scallops and salmon. But some moms like to have viable literature that supports these notions:

I've eaten lobster. I say yes! Everything I read said shellfish is safe in moderation.

I ate it weekly with my first baby.. You'll be fine. I plan on eating it again.. I'm currently 15 weeks with #2.
