Advice on elective induction
I went into preterm labor at 31 weeks and they gave me 2 shots to stop it. I have been having contractions and labor symptoms every single day ever since. I'm 37 weeks now and I lost my plug at 35+4. I don't get the feeling that she's coming any time soon though.
I'm honestly considering getting induced if I make it past 40 weeks (OB said we can start talking about setting a date at 39). I am miserable and barely functional at this point. I can barely get out of bed some days because of the pressure and back pain, and don't get me started on false labor. Am I a bad mom??? I'm really dead set on giving my daughter the full 40 but I don't think I can handle going past that... Do you think it's that bad to force the baby out even at full term?
