Stretch marks

I'm sure there are a million posts but does anyone know of a good stretch mark remedy that might help fade or get rid of the stretch marks that doesn't involve cocoa butter?? And anyone use a body brush in the shower to help?? I've got stretch marks on my breasts and sides coming up from my behind and I'm not impressed nor do I find this pretty!! They are a dark red almost purple and someone told my wife that they go away after a few months once baby comes.... But I'm not risking it!! Also, does anyone's stretch marks hurt a little.....
