Water breaking?

Question

So I'm 31 weeks today. And I'm really terrified of not knowing when my waters brake. Can anyone explain what it's like I've heard stories where ladies have like a slight leak. Then others lots came out. I'm not sure stressing myself out. Do you get contractions straight away? Or is it delayed ? Any comments helpful :)

Oh & my contractions didn't happen till 2 hours after. Don't stress out. Everyone is different :)

So I know this isn't what you're asking but they actually had to break my water with my first. Already at the hospital and about 7 cm dialated.

Most often your water won't break until mid and sometimes even late labor. While it seems likely and dramatic, you'll probably have contractions well before your water breaks

My water broke during a thunderstorm 3 1/2 weeks early. I had actually thought that I just peed a little because I sneezed. Went and changed and I was still wet, so I guess for me it was more like a small gush then leaking.... I also didn't start contractions for almost 12 hours!  But if your water breaks, you will know! I read a lot of women don't actually experience their water breaking before contractions, but more so in active labor! Good luck & don't stress, when it's time you won't question it! 😊

Well i woke up with my daughter at 39+5 feeling something running down my bum cheek. Stood up & it went all over the floor -.-

Mine didn't even break the first time around. I lost my mucus plug and then started having contractions 5 minutes later. When I got to the hospital I was already 7 centimeters and they had to break my water.
