Plan b

Can plan b throw your period off?

I recently had to take plan b after my Keigel excercise was so strong I pulled the condom off my boyfriend and my period is due today. I took it within the 72 hour period and took a pregnancy test and it's negative.. Could plan b have thrown me off hormone wise?
