I was diagnosed with preeclampsia at 37 weeks and with several other complications present (gestational thrombocytopenia, possible cholestasis, abnormal heart beat, etc) the dr induced me that day. 39 hours of pictocin induced labor and 2 hours of pushing (yes I gave in and had an epidural) and I am the first person in my family to have a vaginal delivery. I had a retained placenta and had to have a procedure done in the OR to remove my placenta and my husband was deployed and watched the birth process via Skype. Now my baby has jaundice and I have several plugged milk ducts. My baby is 110% worth it but it is just one thing after another with this pregnancy......
