Drinking while pregnant.

I am 7 weeks pregnant and just found out. On Christmas night I drank one vodka and orange juice, and one glass of wine. I feel like I'm just worrying for nothing and as long as I don't drink anymore (which I obviously won't) it should be okay. But I've been reading up on it and I've seen some very different things such as don't drink til your 20 weeks along, so don't ever drink in the first 6 months... Does anyone have any soothing advice or facts for me..

Don't worry about it,it can only effect your baby if you constantly drink 1 or 2 drinks does not harm your baby

Pretty sure it's not false as my friend was drinking all sorts until she found out she was 4 months pregnant and she has a baby that is absolutely fine

This statement is false. There is no "safe" amount of alcohol to drink during pregnancy.

I looked into this a little, and I've heard that drinking before you find out your PG should not cause any problems. I've read that you don't share blood supply until 2-4 weeks. I've also read of several women who, like you, didn't know they were PG until several weeks into pregnancy and either binge drank, drank a few drinks, or drank one drink right before finding out, and their babies were fine. I wouldn't stress, just stop drinking now that you know. When do you see your Dr? I'm sure that will put you at ease as well.

when my mom was pregnant with my baby brother, the doctor said she could have a small glass of wine 5/7 nights a week. I think you are fine
