What level hospital to deliver in?

My current doctor only delivers at a level 2. I will be close to Children's if anything happens. But I don't know if it is better to switch to a doctor that delivers at a level 3? The place I go to now has lots of experience with twins and works with a specialist if needed

If your not far from a level 3 why risk it? Even if a level 3, is only 15minutes away from your "home" hospital minutes can make a difference when the unexpected happens...

My hospital is only a few blocks from the nearest level three and that seems fine to me. I'd be fine with it even if it were across town.

My husband works as a nurse anesthetist in a hospital. Even he is convinced that we will be okay at any local hospital, even without a NICU, because if there's a real issue they can get the baby downtown in a half hour max. They are well trained to keep everything stable.

The hospital I will be delivering at is a level 2 as well. The closest level three is an 1.5 hours away from me so I will be delivering at a level two. They have a lot of experience with twins so I feel comfortable staying with that hospital and my doctor
