Glass or plastic baby bottles?

Kind of wanting to go green and also make sure the bottles last longer. Any downsides to glass bottles?

Plastic, simply because the daycares in my area don't allow glass... If they break/crack, they pose a safety hazard. (Might just be a thing where I live, but if you plan to put your child in daycare... Ask the director if glass bottles are allowed)

We used glass with no problems. My boys threw them and they never broke. Not on wood or concrete, they are just as easy as anything else, as always make sure to use pretty hot water. Plastic ones have to be tossed when they start to turn cloudy or change color. In my experience the plastic bottles get tossed after one baby if you don't have the next right away. There were two years between my boys so the plastic was tossed and the glass was purchased. You can get them in evenflo and also Dr. Browns. I have both.

Glass tends to be a bit heavier so it may take your kiddo longer to learn to hold it and self feed.... but they're great and help reduce colic

I use plastic with the disposable liners, not very green but I'm going for easier clean up.

My way of "going green" was no bottles. I would prefer glass if I HAD to choose though.
