Never-ending miscarriage?

It's been a month and a couple days since my D&C for a missed miscarriage. I haven't stopped bleeding yet (and I was bleeding for a couple weeks before that). Is anyone else experiencing this? I'm told the D&C might not have gotten everything out. Really hoping my body passes the rest soon!

You should definitely go to the Dr. If you are still bleeding after 2 weeks it is a sign that there still may be something left.

Didn't bleed much only a few days 3-4 after d&c I thought that it would be more and would be straight for 2 weeks. I guess everyone is different. I know that I am waiting for it to show to start tracking again but the wait is killing me. Get checked or call ur doc to see if he can see u.

I was told I could bleed up to 8 weeks. I did for 7 weeks 😕

I've been trying to look up some facts about bleeding after miscarriage. There aren't many. It's depressing to read crap like, "expect a few days to two weeks of bleeding" in all the articles. I had a miscarriage around 6 weeks, didn't know till almost 10 weeks on Nov 20, took miso to get the rest of the tissue out on Dec 3, still bleeding a month after that. This has been a much longer journey than I anticipated. It's really hard and frustrating! I feel for you! My doc said my condition was ok just as long as it's not heavy bleeding. I plan to take a pregnancy test in the morning to see if it's negative yet. If it's not, I'm calling my doctor to go in and get some answers. Hoping this ends soon for the both of us!

Yes. It happened to me. I had a miscarriage and bleed for weeks then my dr did a ultrasound and found I still had some placenta I got a dnc and bleed for 3 more weeks. In total bleed for 9 week

My best friend did not have to get a d&c but when she miscarried she did bleed for about a month. I on the other hand only bled for 5/6 days. Everyone is different I hope you feel better :(

Call your doctor and ask them to do a blood hcg. It's possible the D&C didn't get it all. Does it smell? Are you on antibiotics? Any fever? Is it a flow or just spotting? Any pain? Communicate with your doctor... Good luck
