Anatomy scan without asking?

Do I have to ask to have an ultrasound/ anatomy scan at my next OB appointment? I really want to make sure before I go in but I already have all my appointments until the baby is here scheduled. My next appointment is the 12th and I really want to know. I'll be 17 weeks

I asked my sister in law who's an rn and she said she wouldn't trust anything done before week 18. I was thinking about having a private ultrasound done early to see gender. We decided to wait and I'll be 20 weeks at my scan. Waiting is so hard! Lol

The anatomy scan can be scheduled 18-22 weeks...I'll be 18w2d at mine, but I'm also high risk so I have to go to my maternal fetal specialist to get it done!! My Dr.'s want to do it a little early!

My next one will be next week @ 19 weeks...I asked my Dr office and they said my insurance covers 1 per trimester & they prefer to do them around 18/19 weeks

I have a 22 week scan in Feb. it's not optional for me as it'll be my first one ordered by my Doctor. I did an elective one at 15 weeks and it was so worth it to watch the little guy wriggle around.

The dr will schedule you one around 18-22 weeks. I went for a visit today and she wanted me in in 4 weeks for mine 🎀
