15cm ovarian cyst ?? 16weeks pregnant

My doctor did not even mention the ultrasound report from 9wk scan and said everything was fine. Just got a print out of all results and test as we are moving state and read the report where it states i should see a gyno and possible further treatment.

I am now nearly 17weeks & only just found out i have a 15cm cyst :( no idea what to expect or do. Seeing midwife tomo and hopefully she'll refer me. Scared and upset!!

Anyone had a cyst removed whilst pregnant?

My doctor discovered an ovarian cyst with my first pregnancy. We discussed looking into it after I gave birth. When that time came she used an ultrasound machine to get a good look at it. The cyst was rather large and turned out to be a dermoid. She thought it was best that she take it out surgically. It was a rather large cyst but they were able to do it laparoscopically. Once it was out they confirmed it was not cancerous and I was left to heal. The whole process was pretty smooth.

This has me a little worried! Early last year i had a transvaginal u/s for pain, they found a small cyst. No one has even mentioned or checked for the cyst! Im going in today to see the dr. I'll deff bring this up! 17weeks tomorrow!

I also went to two ultrasounds and they failed to inform me of a cyst on my left ovary until I went in complaining of pain on that side.
And they seem to think its not reason for concern.

I had a 5cm cyst discovered during my last pregnancy. Doctor did not want to touch it when pregnant unless necessary. I ended up having surgery for it a few months after my son was born.
