I am a Christian with a porn addiction. Will God forgive me?

Yes but in order for that to happen you have to ask for His forgiveness and turn from your ways. God always forgives His children, but we have to come forth and want to be forgiven. We also have to be willing to change whatever it is that we're asking forgiveness from.

God will absolutely forgive you! But you do need to repent when you're sinning...not just say sorry and keep doing it. Porn addiction is more than just a sinful thing. Porn literally changes the way your brain operates and if you're addicted you need help. I would really really recommend you find a Christian counselor you could start seeing so you can find freedom and victory from this.

You are facing addiction, which is chemical. It's not something you're really in control of. Based on this post I'm assuming you're seeking help and trying to overcome. I don't think God will be angry. You're doing your best. It's okay. ❤️

I don't believe in God but I do believe you have to forgive yourself in order to heal. You can join a support group or see a therapist. The first step is always admitting your problem which you have done. You need to learn to forgive yourself.

I have been raised that you have to give yourself to God.  You have to truely believe in your heart that there is no other Gods before him.  If you have an addiction no matter what it is, you seek the Lord.  Pray that he brings you through this difficult time and that he opens your eyes to what is believed a sin. Then when you ask for forgiveness you must never do it again to be fully redeemed for  it.  I was a theif in my teen years I didn't care I took something if I wanted it no matter what the consequences were!  So I prayed and ask for forgiveness but I was tempted to steal again and I did except this time I did get caught I had to do community service and 2 weeks in jail. It was horrible because I had just turned 18.  Just remember there are consequences with your actions and I really understood what my behavior was doing to me, so I prayed and asked God to forgive me 1 more time I swear I would never steal another thing in my life, and here I am I haven't touched anything that isn't mind.  He even took the temptation away too!  So remember asking God for forgiveness is a start but you must be ready to be done with what you are asking forgiveness for!
