My boyfriend and I had sex on my period accidentally. I am very regular and I thought I was finished with my period and he had been craving sex bad so we just went ahead and did it even though I usually like to wait a full day after my period just incase. But I hadn't bled all day so I thought I was good. I'm on the pill and I am allergic to latex so we don't use condoms but he pulls out. And we he pulled out to finish there was blood all over the place. I was very embarrassed but he assured me it was okay that he really didn't mind it at all. So if you don't mind getting a little messy, go for it. I just recommend having some clean up materials or a shower close by. Or you could always do it in the shower. Haha anyway, just talk to your significant other and see how they feel.

Try it for the first time near the end of your period, and put a towel down so you're not worrying about being messy!

I'd say just put a towel down if you're worried about the messiness or if you decide to do it on a day where the flow is a little heavier, and be prepared to clean up after. As long as your partner is mature about it, I don't see anything wrong. 😊

Not my favorite thing, but still nice. Pros... I'm sensitive and really turned on while on my period and it can be really good for cramps. I have also heard it can make your period shorter (NOT 100% sure if that is true...) cons are that it can be really messy... And periods don't always smell great. It can also put a damper on foreplay too, depending on how the guy feels about it.
