Alternative surgery to laproscopy
Hey Ladies!
I have surgery scheduled in 3 weeks to get an Endometrioma removed. I won't know more about the surgery until my pre-op appointment. They mentioned doing a laproscopy to remove it but I was curious if there are any alternative surgeries?
I have had friends tell me that the gas is painful and as you heal the gas they use to expand your tummy goes up into the shoulder and neck area causing pain.
I understand this is "normal" but the idea of it makes me uncomfortable. I would rather have a scar on my tummy than my stomach pumped with gas.
What are my options?
* tried calling my clinic today but couldn't get through to a nurse, I'll try again tomorrow but I thought I would ask you ladies too*
