Maybe but likely not. Not because of homophobia but I just think that the odds of a gay person running might not be as common as you might think. Gays only make up something like 3-4% of the population. Narrow that into a sub category of politicians and that's an extremely low number. Now subcategories that into the people who meet tge qualifications of presidential eligibility and you're looking at a very, very small amount of people.

I would like to say "yes"; however, I don't think some people in this world would ever allow it......not yet anyways. I really hope one day it happens......and not just bc they may or may not be gay.....but bc they are a great candidate and will help America.

I don't think you should vote for someone because they are gay. If they would make a great president is what you should consider. People who vote just because of the sexual preferences shouldn't vote

George Washington
Lyndon Johnson
And even Thomas Jefferson

James Buchanan is probably the most likely candidate, but I wouldn't be too surprised if there were more.
