Being sick helps to concieve ?

Well I'm currently sick and fertile week ended just yesterday.  I was sick starting 2 days ago.  My hubby is sick too.  I read some odd stories saying being sick is good while ttc because you don't attack the sperm.  Thoughts ?

I've heard of it helping when women are because of the cough syrups/cold medicine you take helping produce more cm. idk how true any of it is.

I've actually heard the opposite, especially for men. Fevers raise the body temp and higher temps are harmful for sperm. However, I conceived when my husband had strep and had be febrile for a few days. So who knows!! Baby dust!
