Hey ladies how long after having your baby did you have sex?  I had a c section but pretty much fully healed. My son is 2 weeks old today. Feels like it's been forever since I've had sex! Lol

You are supposed to wait 6 weeks because you are at risk of infection, c section or vaginal.

I was told to wait until 6 weeks (also C section) because if I got pregnant it would be an extremely high risk pregnancy. Also you're extremely fertile in those weeks.

I waited until 6 weeks after my c section. Just because u can't have sex due to risk of infection doesn't mean he can't take care of Ur needs.

I was told 4 wks. But i had an uncomplicated vaginal birth with no stitches. i only waited two weeks last time, and it felt great and i had no negative consequences. I do plan to wait four wks this time becuase my SO is very "by the  rules".  Thank goodness they didn't tell me six weeks like everyone else! !

You clearly know you're supposed to wait 6weeks but that's not the answer you were looking for, clearly!!! I had a csection the 17th of December & me & SO had sex two days ago! Couldn't wait the 6 weeks! You are at risk for infection but plenty of people have had sex before then & been okay! Most doctors say as long as you are done blessings & it doesn't hurt you, then you should be good to go!

Cervix isn't closed til 6 weeks, so protect your health and abstain till fully healed. Ditto on uber fertile remarks.
