Soft cervix?

How would all you ladies describe you're cervix, I tested negative this morning but I'm having lots of symptoms so I feel like it's still to early for a positive test which is why I'll be testing again in like a week or 2 but I'm just curious what y'all describe how your cervix feels like mine feels really soft and gummy like I mean that by if you were to squeeze a gummy lifesaver it would probably feel like that I guess? I'm just looking for signs of hope! I really want to be pregnant and I'm praying and hoping I am I just need to wait to test again...
