Worried About Ectopic

Any insight would be helpful...we have been trying to conceive for several years ; I miscarried twins in December 2014 at 12 weeks, then experienced an ectopic which resulted in hemorrhage and removal of a Fallopian tube in May of 2015; Doc said to go ahead and try actively in December so we have been, had my last period December 3rd. Tonight (1/6/16) I took a pregnancy test since I'm a few days late, it was crazy dark positive immediately. Of course I'll call my doctor first thing, but that fast and dark of a positive could only mean another ectopic couldn't it?
