When did you go back to work after D/C?

Question

How much time did you take off after D/C? Also, what did you tell your boss?

My first one I was  stay at home Mom but my me one I had on Friday and was at work Monday. It's not that bad physically...it's the emotional pain that's difficult.

Stayed away for 4 days (D&C was 30/12 back to work 4/1). 
Emotionally, it's been hard going but the distraction from everything going on in my head has been good, except when clients bring in their babies. That, I can't deal with right now.
I told my boss I was pregnant as I had to due to the nature of my work, so then had to tell her straight up about the loss - couldn't verbalise this without losing it so had to text her. She's been very understanding, especially as for the first two days I only managed a half day as I couldn't stop crying.

I came back this Monday the office was closed on Thursday and Friday for the holidays and my procedure was 12/31 so glad that it was that way.

Had mine on Friday and went back on Tuesday. I had some complications with mine, lots of sharp cramping and could barely stand up straight one day. Everything ended up checking out and they weren't sure what was going on. But I told my boss what was happening the night we found out I miscarried. I had to because of the nature of my work. But it was definitely emotionally tough. I cried off and on during my shifts the first two days back and was greeted with my fetal X-ray monitor badge report my first day back which was devastating. It's tougher than I would have imagined.

Cry when you need to cry and don't be afraid to let others be there for you!!

My D/C was on a Friday and I was at work by Monday. The emotional pain takes its toll on you. I had some minor pain right after but it went away quickly.  Everyone is different..

I took a day off but I think the d &c hits everyone differently. On days 3-5 I was passing clots the size of a lime.

I had mine 12/29 and went back to work 1/4 (only b/C of the holiday and weekend).  Probably two days off would have been enough physically.  Emotionally it just depends on each person. I told my boss the truth even though they weren't aware that I was pregnant.  I just personally couldn't bear to just go back to work and pretend everything was normal.  But I think that is a very personal decision, everyone handles things differently.  Wishing you peace in your journey.

I went back the day after my d&c. Physically I felt fine but it was difficult emotionally. Everyone at work knew I was pregnant so I told my boss the truth and asked a coworker to spread the word so everyone knew. I did cry a few times when people hugged me and apologized but it did help me to get back to my normal routine quickly. Everyone is different and you should take as much time as you feel you need!
