Plan B vs. Generic?

I know this is in the wrong room but I'm active in CC and know the ladies here and want to get decent advice as opposed to some of the riffraff in the sex rooms.

My SO and I were just having sex and he came only a little bit but held himself off because he wanted to keep going. The condom broke but nt at the tip. We're still getting Plan B but I couldn't particularly a find good Google answer as to whether or not a generic and cheaper version would be just as effective.

Any input would be great.

A generic version should work just as well as Plan B. I think you pay for the name.

At Walgreens the generic is $40 and brand name is $50. And on the plan b website you can get a coupon for $10 off the brand name. Personally I'd rather get the brand name when it comes to something like that. I just had to do that last weekend when the condom broke.

Generic meds are usually fine, if cost is an issue I'd also call planned parenthood and ask if you qualify for free Plan B from them.
