Winter babies... what to do?

Question

With my first, by week 2 we were taking long walks in n the stroller and sitting in tge patio. It's winter with this one and being in the Midwest it's cold out AND I am paranoid about flu season. I am only 10 days post-Csect, but Netflix is getting old.

What are you other moms doing instead of sitting in front of the TV?

I've taken my daughter into Target and Macy's, I just make sure she's covered up while in the car seat or I carry her in my carrier. She's 3 weeks old today and its been too cold for outdoor walks but I NEED to get out! Otherwise we sit around all day (I watch hgtv lol) and I clean while she naps. I pretty much feel like a bum.. Haha

We went for a quick supply run today. I'm 6 days post csection but I think I've had an easier than expected recovery. I have my son in a baby k'tan, with a bridge the bump insert for my northface. I live in Chicago and he seemed to be warm the whole time.

I want to get out so bad but it's not worth risking my baby getting sick for my needs

I think I'm going I start doing some mall walking during the day when the mall isn't so crowded.  It's too cold in Ohio to 'bundle up' a newborn for walks outside.  I need things to do with her, though.

I have two step kids and a 4 year old in addition to my two week old so between gymnastics, ice skating lessons and swim lessons I'm keeping pretty busy lol thankfully my husband is home when the big kids need to be somewhere so lil man can stay inside

I am 4 weeks pp and I live normally. Went Christmas shopping, grocery shopping, out to dinner.... And I have toddler to keep up with. I stay home but I go places too.

I have a 5 week old and live my life like I always did. My dr said it's perfectly safe to take her out as long as she's not being held by anyone who's sick she should be fine. It's good for them to get exposed to the outside and germs. It builds their immune system.

Mommy groups. Visiting healthy family. But I agree I'm tired of Netflix.
