A pedephile or not?

Hello ladies, first some background I was molested by my 14 year old cousin when I was about 2 1/2 to 3 years old. Because I was so young I can only remember bits and pieces. Now my question is because we were both underage, would he still be considered a pedephile? Why or why not??

I'd say yes. At 14 any male or female has enough understanding to know right from wrong and to know fairly educated on sex. I'd never let him around any children. I understand people are curious at that age, but it's NOT okay be curious with a baby.

Not necessarily a pedophile (usually means adult attracted to children) but is still childhood sexual abuse (CSA) and incredibly wrong. At 14 they would know it is wrong to engage children sexually.

Textbook, if I remember correctly, that in order to be considered a pedophile, the one doing the action must be 16 years of age. They must be 5 years older than the person they are doing something to. And the recipient must be before puberty. If even one of these does not match, they are not a pedophile.

It's still a sex offense but on that I think may be taken off the record. I'm not sure it's called child on child sexual abuse. Usually happens when the molesting child was molested/raped at a younger age, and demonstrates that on the victim either because that's what they feel is how one shows emotions or they're simply just replicating the behavior to make others feel bad. Pedohillia 🤔🤔🤷🏻‍♀️ not so much.. but that person definitely knows better.

No. A pedophile is an adult that likes children. Although at 14 he should know the difference between right and wrong he is still a child and his brain is still developing. Not to excuse the behavior- it's wrong! But I don't think you can fully understand that difference at that age, and at 14 his hormones are raging.
