My due date was December 25th! I spent the day with mine & my boyfriend family , we came home at 11 at night & I fell right to sleep. I woke up at 3:00am with a pounding head ache , I went & took a Tylenol & layed in the bath. As I was waiting for the tub to fill I noticed my feet & legs & hands were very swollen , so I put some epson salt in my bath water & layed in it for almost an hour. Then I felt so exhausted I got out & went in my sons room & fell asleep on the floor because I was so uncomfortable being in our bed. I woke up at 9am the next day on the 26th & still seen my feet, legs & hands were swollen , so I decided to call the nurses line & tell them. She told me that I needed to come in cause it sounded like  preeclampsia. I went into L&D at 1030am & found out I had it so I needed to be induced. Due to the preeclampsia I couldn't be included thru iv , so they used the balloon method I got settled into my room & got set up by maybe 2 or 3 in the afternoon. I wasn't dilated at all , I had the balloon in for 6 hours before I finally made it to 3 cm. then finally I was able to get the epidural (which was a life saver & I highly recommend it) I got that around 8 or 9 pm . I stayed 3 cm for the rest of that day, then finally on the 27th early morning I was 4 cm , then stayed 4cm for that whole day til maybe 8 pm at night then went from 5 cm to 6 , then to 7cm . I was so over it at this point , finally I was checked at 4am the 28th & I jumped to 9cm!! I tried to push then but he definitely wasn't coming without a fight lol . So I had to wait til I was 10! Finally at 8am they came & checked & I was finally 10 & it was time to push!!! I pushed for 45 mins & finally after a long 46 hour labor my baby made his grand entrance at 9:35am on the 28th! I was the longest labor they have ever had at my hospital & me being only 19 years old  made it even more crazier!! I brought a happy healthy 7 pound 14 oz 19 1/2 long handsome baby into this world & couldn't be anymore proud & happy!! I love you so much Giovanni Joseph! 😘💙💙💙
