Baby shower

Right now I'm working on a list. 

I currently have friends, aunts, cousins on the list, it adds up to over 70 😁😁 that seems like way to many people! But I'm close with certain cousins and not with others, so would it be wrong to invite certain family that I see often and talk to on a regular basis, but not invite the others that I don't talk to often? Or do I need to suck it up and have a large baby shower?
