Breastfeeding in public, YES OR NO! what are your thoughts?

I'm TTC with my first child, I have friends that breastfeed and they say it's the best! I plan on breastfeeding as well, I'm sure if my child is hungry I will feed them when it's necessary I'm not going to run to the car or go to a nasty public restroom just to feed my child! Do you guys mind women breastfeeding in public? Are you strongly against it? Do you breastfeed in public?
