Anyone TTC after early miscarriage?

Looking to see if there is anyone out there who is trying to get pregnant again after early miscarriage. How long did your docs tell you to wait? Did you decide to wait that long or try sooner? We miscarried at 6 weeks, the pregnancy did not show normal hCG from the beginning, on Dec 27. Today the nurse called me back and my hCG levels are negative, but she told me to wait at least three full cycles to try again and we were planning on trying this month. Any experience with pregnancy immediately following miscarriage would also be great to hear!
