Having contractions - when to go in??

STM here and I seem to have forgotten everything! I'm 40+2 days and had my bloody show today,  contractions started earlier and they seem to be every 8 minutes..  When should I be heading to the hospital? I know with the first the rule was every 3 minutes and lasting one minute?

If you are 30 minutes or less from the hospital go when contractions are every 5 if is too far go now, you never how traffic or roads are, good luck

Take into account how quickly your first labor went. If you went fast last time, get on in there. 
My hospital said every 5 minutes for "several hours" being a first time mom. I went to the hospital when I was having them every 8-10 mins for 1 hour, they had gotten closer together on the 40min drive to the hospital and was told I was 8cm when I walked in the door. 5 hours total in labor. With any subsequent pregnancies, I'll be sure to not follow the "usual guidelines" and get to the hospital sooner.

With your second you can go faster so I'd go by 5 mins last for a min or water breaks
