Should I go to a doctor?

I have Ttc for 6 months now. And it has worked yet. This is the longest it has ever taken my husband and I to conceive. And I am feeling like something could be wrong. But I know women sometimes thing that when it takes a long time. I need some advice. Thank you.

Oh and I conceived our first in 3 months and my second within 2 weeks of being off the pill and she still wouldn't budge

It's been 10 months for me since we started trying. I did go to my doctor and she said they won't do anything until it's been a full year. The only advice she gave me was to take folic acid or a prenatal Vitamin that has it in it and to exercise. The folic acid reduces the risk of spina bifida. She said insurance won't pay for pay for anything until it's been a full year. Then they will start with testing the mans sleep count.

They told me depending on ur type of birth control before ttc it may take up to 1yr
