Based on my last period I'm 8w2d but based on my ultrasound yesterday I'm 9w today which is a more accurate date?

Dr will always always go off your last period. They told me it doesn't matter even if I know the date I got pregnant.

My doctor told me if the EDDs would be within 5 days of each other then they will just stick with the LMP date. But if it is more than 5 days they will go with the ultrasound.

My dr used the 7week scan to date. Ovulation can be off and the scan gives a more accurate view of gestational age.
