Anybody using a cyro bank?

So me and the wife are hitting a road block deciding should we use a anonymous donor or not. I prefer anonymous. She wants open donor. What are you ladies input on this?

So I initially wanted an anonymous donor but then I read something about what if our kids want to know further about their gentics, bloodline, or simply their family history. The book said getting an anonymous donor could hold them back from finding out about who they are and where they come from for our selfish reasons. That really resonated w/ me and and if my kid is anything like me (super inquisitive) than they would prob wanna know. So my wife I decided to pay the $100 extra for the anonymous donor.

We are using an open donor through the European Sperm Bank USA in Seattle. All of their donors are allegedly open to contact once the kid is 18. It's not super important to me, but I figure it will be nice to have the option if the kid wants to.

Yeah we are using a cryo bank. My wife and I don't care if the donor is anon or not. That's something that's kind of on the bottom of our list of what we are looking for in a donor. We have found donor that have everything we are looking for and the fact that they're anon or not won't stop us from picking them.
