When to worry about a fever

I am 9 days postpartum and have a temperature of 99.5. I am very achey/sore in my abdomen that has been there all day. It was not bad all week (a little sore at first but then got better). This is my first baby. Is it all normal? When should I worry about any complications?

Are you still taking your pain meds?  Ibuprofen should knock your temperature down and help with the pain.

Are you using a pp support belt? I found after my dd was born I had to use one cuz I felt so gross and my stomach hurt and the belt really helped with the cramping.

Id call you dr and let them know. I had the same thing at 7d pp but my dr told me not to worry until it was above 100.4.
