Going nuts over here... Advice please!

I'm about 6 days late and I have gotten a negative pregnancy test I have cramping but it doesn't feel like my normal AF cramping more like pinching pulling and twinges ! It's starting to drive me nuts... I had a vaginal ultrasound done and there were no signs of cysts ?? Could I be pregnant ? Any suggestions
