When to test?

I'm on round 4 of Clomid and I had a short cycle, 20 days. My Dr had me do this round later, around day 16. Currently I'm on day 37 with no AF. I tested on day 32 with a BFN but I'm thinking since I ovulated later it would have been too early? Anyone have any advice?
