I'm 16, gonna be 17 in 5 months and I've been talking to this guy I've know for a few years from like middle school . My parents are very strict on me dating but I wanna be able to go out and see him and not hide it from my parents. What should I do?

Straight up tell your parents that you really like this guy and say how am I supposed to make memories if you don't let me and if I make a mistake I will learn from it

Try and speak to them and just let them know that you really like the person. They might not be happy at first but you need to do what's right for you. If you believe that you want something more with them then go for it

I suggest you should try to speak to whoever a more easy going mother or father then let whoever is less stricter pass the message on calmly to their other half, if it doesn't work then yeah maybe you should carry on seeing him secretly. X
