Anyone here refuse all ultrasounds?

Question

Ultrasound technology hasn't been proven safe. This includes the ultrasound scan (picture), the Doppler scan, and the fetal Doppler heart rate monitor. According to FDA.gov, long term risks haven't been studied and short term risks include heating up of fetal tissue and possible cavitation (creating bubbles inside the flesh).

I just read that the U.S. fetal death rate is HIGHER than the US Infant mortality rate for the first time in history--do you think this may be due to the overuse of ultrasounds?

They are safe in my professional opinion. I am very holistic and natural minded and have absolutely zero problems with the occasional ultrasound or doppler.

I asked for ultrasounds only when they are absolutely necessary. My Providence OB is super holistic and said this was a good idea and something she wished she saw more.  ❤️❤️❤️

My mom says anything that uses waves lol she has these things on her walls that reflect electromagnetic waves. I want ultrasound cause I would have anxiety about how my baby is doing. I need that security. But while I am pregnant I will be buying a blanket that lay over your belly while on phone n watching tv to reflect those waves......

After my first ultrasound at 13 weeks and fetal doppler at 14 I decided to not have anymore. Both times I left my uterus felt sore and irritated. I thought it was cute seeing baby squirm so much on the ultrasound but then thought about how it might’ve been bothering him/her. 
Ultrasound heats tissue on a cellular level so I’d imagine it affects a small, fragile fetus to some degree. Also seeing how some European countries don’t do them routinely at all unless there is a cause for concern makes me rethink our over-usage in the states. 
I’m a few weeks away from when I could get an anatomy scan but am opting out of it since I’ve been feeling baby kick and move around so much! To each it’s own though! 
We’re already exposed to so much EMF with all our modern technology that I like to reduce it where I can!

We are just doing one, a few weeks before the due date. I do not feel they are necessary unless something is wrong, so we are just having the one right before the birth to make sure everything is ok for giving birth at home.

We are only doing one and it's more for our midwife. We are having a home birth and she wants to make sure that the baby doesn't have a serious defect, like a hole in it's heart, that would keep us from having a safe birth 
We chose to not have any ultrasounds with our last baby

I read about ultrasounds as well. I don't think I'll be doing any when i get pregnant. Unnecessary risk and all that.

I didn't refuse all- but we will only be doing 2. One to date and anatomy scan. My doctor agrees with me that any more is unnecessary.

Anyone here refuse all ultrasounds?
