Dry, flaky nipples?

35 weeks tomorrow, and this past week I've noticed that my nipples are super dry with flaky dead skin. I live in a cold climate (for the first time in my life)... Could it be the cold weather? What can I use to moisturize them?

I've used different lotions which have worked. I also have used a lanolin ointment meant for breastfeeding moms. That stuff is awesome, but a little pricey.

Are you sure it's dry skin and not dried colostrum? You could have been leaking a little and not realized it.
