Does anyone else feel disconnected from friends/family

Since I've been pregnant my "close" friends and family members just aren't as active in my life like I thought they should be they don't call and check on me and or ask me to hang out idk if I'm being a brat but my boyfriend has been really supportive as well as my mom but I just thought my friends and certain family members would be too

That happened to me as well. I used to get invited to go dancing or invited every weekend. But since I got pregnant I have gotten invited 3 times and I am now 27weeks. With my best friend of 14 years I would go out to eat dinner 1 every 2 weeks and since I gotten pregnant I only gone to eat with her is about once. My husband has been supportive and understand how I feel. But we decided that once our son gets here we are going to continue us 3 and do us as a little family. If no one hit us up and hung out with us as I was pregnant than once I give birth to him I hope they continue to ignore us. I know it might be childish but I am pregnant not disabled

The saying "you find out who your friends are when your pregnant" is unfortunately true. I'm 28 and I know friends are just busy with their lives. But ya no one texts or calls for football games, movies, or you're right asking how I'm feeling. I have like 3 people and my family I talk to on a daily basis. :) hang in there!

Have you contacted them and/or invited them to do things with you? They may just not be sure how you're feeling or if you're too tired to want to do things with them, etc. If they are meeting up for drinks they may not want to make you feel bad that they are drinking any you're not, for example! Maybe try inviting them to do something and just slip into conversation that you're feeling good, have some energy and want to get out of the house, etc!

My sister just gave birth dec 1 and both my parents couldnt stop talking about her pregnancy went on a shoppig spree to buy her everything and now all they talk about is her baby boy but have yet to say a single word to me in regards to ANYTHING i am currently 27 weeks 5 days and not once have they asked me how im feeling what name we have picked if i need anything they dont even acknowledge that i am expecting a baby let alone the fact that its the first girl in EIGHT years ( last girl was my niece followed by five boys)

Yep, this happened to me too. I'm constantly reaching out to everyone and I either get ignored or blown off. Everyone acted so excited and happy at the beginning but now no one is around except my friend who had her son in August and my boyfriend.

I feel super disconnected with my friends I haven't hung out with them since I got pregnant (I'm 25 weeks today) I barely get any texts/phone calls from them and when plans are made to go out to lunch or get our eyebrows done or shop they always get canceled. To be completely honest I'm a little worried for my baby shower in March most of my friends are telling me I better send them an invite but then again I have a feeling they won't even come. I just can't wait till my baby boy is here to keep me occupied 💕

My "best friend" since we were 6th grade disappointed me so many times even when i was not pregnant. She comes and mostly not there..We are miles apart but i never forget to contact her and update her.. asking her how is she and always there for her if ahe needed me. I am always the one to approach...or else nothing will happened. When i finally had a boy friend after a long years of being single, she dare to ask about him, about our relationship. When we finally get engage, the first thing she said was, Ohh so i will be the last to get married.. I had enough, i stop approaching her first, and as expected i did not hear from her for a while until she will remember to message me, but as soon as you reply she is gone.. and will contact me again after couple of months. No growth at all. I sent a post mail telling her i am pregnant with a picture of the ultrasound on SepTember 2015. I got the post back as a returned mail..Of course! She moved! How will i know thay is she do not communicate. I mentioned to her today about the mail.. she just said she moved 2 times and it was unfortunate. She never even dare to ask what was the mail for. So i just replied telling her what it was about and that i am pregnant. The typical her... she did not reply. I gave up! I wish she will just totally forget me so i can totally forget her.

I'm the opposite my friends are way more supportive than my family and husband.. With my first one they couldn't get enough, this one which is my second and my last no one cares except my friends.. It really hurts my husband doesn't care or understand or cares to try and help with anything.. It's like he's all about him and I better just get over it 🙁😔, makes me regret having another child with him to be honest.. Like he acts like he's single and that baby and our son don't even matter.. I told him inrather have him leave now and I finish this on my own than to give birth and he leaves than.. I'm just over it..

I feel the same way , I'm the first of my group of friends to get pregnant. When they first heard the news they were all shocked and excited saying how they are so happy how they are going to be there for me. But since then no one has really taken time to hang with me even if it's to go get some food or the movies. Makes me sad sometimes but my boyfriend is the only one who's e really been there for me. We go out to eat movies I even go to the bar with him just to watch a basketball game and have some cheat wings. But the days he wants guy time is when I really need my friends and they are all out smoking hookah drinking. They choose to do things late. I'll get off work at3 and they all want to link up around 10 and my body is just so tired. So yeah I think pregnancy changes everything.

You pretty much don't have any friends when your pregnant or after.  A few stick around maybe one or two but your busy and there kind of fun isn't your kind of fun anymore.  I have 2 friends I talk to everyday and they both have kiddos too.  Sorry you are dealing with that just seems to happen most of the time.
