I was given bacterial medicines (a gel insert) which has totally gotten rid of the smell

But I'm still have yeast infection symtoms?

I still have some minor burning there, but it's getting better. what most concerns me is for the past two days I've had horrible cottage cheese like discharge. It's never looked like this before. Is that what happens when a yeast infection goes away? Does it just sort of come out of you? I know that sounds silly, but I've never had a yeast infection before until this time so I really have no idea what's going on?
