I already lack self confidence
I've waited 3 months for a guy I've been friends with over over a year and right before he left for basic training we admitted to each other we've liked each other for a while. He's finally home, but only gets a few days. He spent most of his weekend with family and not on his phone much, which I completely respect. I already lack the self confidence about me getting in a relationship and knowing it'll work or that the guy wants to be with me so, how come my MOM and AUNT are making jokes that he's out with another girl right now?? Like seriously, I've been writing him for 3 months and we pretty much act like we're in a relationship when we're together, so why would they say something like that? I would never say that to my daughter, if I ever have one when I'm older. I feel like I shouldn't even waste my time trying because of comments like that...😔
