Does acpunture hurt?

i am thinking about getting it. how many sessions did u have before getting a bfp

I have very bad endometriosis and did acupuncture to cure my horrible endo pain. All my pain was cured by my second session. I went from being stuck indoors, not being able to walk for long, to no pain. Although I did not have it done for fertility, I have heard it does work for that. If it can cure my bad endo pain, which every doctor I went to said couldn't be cured without surgery or heavy painkillers, I know it can work for fertility. I have to admit it hurt a lot for me. I had a lot of blockage and also my acupuncturist was straight from China. Chinese acupuncture tends to be more aggressive but in my opinion more successful. I think the most important thing is finding a reputable acupuncturist. I wouldn't trust anyone who has a like "2 year certificate"... My acupuncturist studied in China for 30 years before he started practicing it. Also, insurance doesn't usually cover it but there are some that do so make sure you check yours. I've had acupuncture in the past for pain and it really helps! I'm going on Wednesday to do acupuncture for fertility and also pain management.

If it hurts, let them know so they can move the offending needle. I haven't used it for TTC yet, but it's pretty awesome for starting a late period and for cramps.

I am a big fan of acupuncture. A few times the needles stung slightly going in but my skin is very sensitive. I find my weekly sessions invaluable with dealing with back pain due to pregnancy and anxiety.

I haven't tried acupuncture for fertility, but I did for migraines. Most of them I couldn't feel at all, and the ones I could I just felt pressure. It didn't hurt at all.
