I have 4 children. I was induced with #4, it was the easiest, most pain free birth I had. I highly recommend it. I'm looking forward to being induced again with #5! :)

You do not have "breaks" or rests between medically induced contractions, where natural you do.

I was induced but I also got an epidural so I did not feel a thing... I was not even able to feel the contractions, they had to tell me when to push. But I was in labor for 36 hrs... Only 10 minutes of pushing.

Natural contractions build up slowly and you have breaks in between. With induced you'll be from zero to hundred immediately and your body hasn't had time to adjust, it's more excruciating and the chance of chosing and epidural is higher because of that which may make further medication necessary... But there's not one right way to do it, just get to know your options

YES! I if you recieve pitocin it intensives your contractions so much. I've had three babies and have had to have pitocin to help my contractions become stronger after going into labor naturally but not making good progress. I'm currently pregnant with my 4th and refuse to have pitocin. I will however ask for a cervical sweep which will help start labor if my body is ready but no medical inductions.

I was induced as well. I only have one baby so far. . But I'm curious. Does anyone know if natural contractions hurt just as bad as induced contractions? Mine felt almost deadly at "level 12" from the pitocin, that's when I started really feeling them especially to where it was unbearable.
